Welcome to In The Loop Kiteboarding website and online kiteboarding shop. In The Loop is a Townsville based, premier kiteboarding school offering the highest quality Kiteboarding and Stand Up Paddle lessons all year long. Our team has an incredible passion for kiting and watersports in general.

We are here to help customers learn to kiteboard safely in North Queensland and we also offer trips, clinics, advice and all the leading kiting brands. We are the only school in Townsville, providing professional one on one instruction, teaching beginners to learn kiteboarding efficiently and safely and whilst having a blast. We take our school seriously and want to provide the best possible experience to our customers.

Our instructors are some of the most experienced in the country. Owner and retail manager Marvin Baumeister will always try to provide the best service possible for his customers. In the Loop Kiteboarding started in 2004 when Dr Matthew Payne started teaching in conjunction with the James Cook University Kiteboarding Club Inc. At present, In the Loop and the JCUKC have taught over 3000 students. The JCUKC is a listed member of AKSA (Australian Kiteboarding Association) and a great club to be involved with.

The best way to learn to kiteboard in North Queensland is with In the Loop. We make learning kiteboarding easy, safe and fun. We use the latest radio communication headsets for 100% coaching time and only new model kites and boards.
