DISCOVER RURAL RAJASTHAN WITH KRISHNA RANCH

The Krishna Ranch organizes professionally guided treks through the beautiful Arravali-mountains of Southern Rajasthan. The Aravalli's are home of the Bhil-tribe which culture is still very much alive in this remote part of Rajasthan. All treks pass through beautiful valleys, along rivers and lakes and through small tribal villages. On the way we will visit some nice, traditional village temples.

We offer a 6 days/ 5 nights trek starting from our ranch in Udaipur, finishing at Kumbhalgarh fort (an impressive fort located on an 1,100 meter peak). We will walk about 15 - 20 kilometers per day, totally off the main roads. Excellent vegetarian meals are being provided and we will sleep in spacious tents with comfortable beds. Our guides speak very well English.

It is also possible to do the same trek in 4 days on horse-back. The Krishna Ranch owns 14 beautiful and very well looked after Marwari horses. All horse-safaris are being guided by the owner of the ranch who is passionate about horses and who knows the area very well. We also offer 7 days or 10 days horse-safaris

The krishna Ranch is a living farm with many animals and lush fields with a variety of crops. It is possible to stay at the ranch in nicely decorated rural cottages. The ranch is an excellent starting point for day-walks or -rides in the beautiful surroundings of the ranch.
