Muktuk Adventures is a Dog Sledding Adventure operator based just outside Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. We cater for guests year-round. Our most popular season is, of course, the winter. We operate tours ranging from half and full day trips to our 'expedition' camping trips that can last between three to ten days in the beautiful Yukon wilderness. Our experienced and certified guides accopmany groups on the tours and teach them the art of being a musher!

This is an educational experience and guests learn how to lead a team of hybrid huskies, not just merely sit in a sled! We also offer a chance for guests to follow the Yukon Quest, (www.yukonquest.com) the 1000 Mile International Sled Dog Race from Whitehorse, Y.T to Fairbanks Alaska, this two week trip is truly an unforgettable experience for guests wishing to view extreme athletes at work!

For spring and summer tourists we have dog walking and educational tours where visitors learn how we care for our 120 dog kennel by Yukon Quest legend Frank Turner, guests are able to stay in one of our five cabins or park RV's at our camp grounds. In the fall we offer guests the unique position of accompanying us on a training run on an ATV, where you can witness, first hand, how we train and condition our dogs in preparation for competitions!
