The Adventure Centre
Whether you want to experience the thrill of an adventure activity or organise a group day out, The Adventure Centre is the place for you. The Adventure Centre operates an exciting range of extreme sports and activities, as well as training courses in association with Cornwall College.

Choose from surfing, coasteering, rock climbing, abseiling, kite boarding, mountain biking and much, much more. We have activities and extreme sports to suit all ages and abilities. We also have special, fun packages for children and special relaxation treatments.

The Adventure Centre is a perfect venue for group adventure, whether you want to organise a corporate event, a stag or hen party, a day out for school or youth groups or a military training session.

Our base at privately owned Lusty Glaze beach, near Newquay in Cornwall has been extensively renovated and developed into a unique leisure and education facility where you can enjoy a range of activities and extreme sports in the Cornish outdoors.

The Training Centre
Home of the National Lifeguard and National Rescue Training Centre
The Training Centre was established to provide professional first aid, emergency rescue and beach lifeguard training courses for private individuals, company employees and service personnel from across the UK.

Based in Newquay, Cornwall, The Training Centre offers a wide range of courses in emergency rescue and first aid care. First aid training courses are available at all levels from Basic Life Support right through to Spinal Management.

Emergency rescue training courses include Cliff Rescue, Confined Space Rescue and Emergency Medical Rescue at Heights. The centre is also a nationally renowned provider of beach lifeguard training courses, which can now be combined with BSA surf instructor or surf coach training courses.

As part of Cornwall College, all our courses are strictly regulated and certified to professional standards. We are also work with several medical rescue organisations to ensure our courses are always up-to-date with the latest practice and relevant to real life emergency situations.
