Kite surfing takes the best of a range of water sports from surfing to wakeboarding, windsurfing to paragliding. Kiteboarding has been with us for some time and has progressed to one of the fastest growing watersports of our age. Paracademy has been teaching kitesurf courses since its start in the UK and the school at Portland Harbour has an established excellent reputation. Paracademy is the foremost global kite surf instructor training centres and head instructor Neil Godbold runs kite surf instructor courses across the globe.

Portland Harbour is generally a flat water venue with steady south west winds and shallow water. Portland Harbour is widely regarded as one of the finest kiteboarding locations in the world and an ideal location to learn the sport.

All courses are run under the strict guidelines of the BKSA (British Kite Surfing Association) and the IKO (International Kiteboarding Organisation).
