Sailing in Italy

Sailing in Italy provides skipper sailing holidays in Italy lasting from 1 day to multiple weeks. These can be combined with a selfcatering holiday in the Tuscan hills, walking on Elba or sailing and language tuition. The base is at Puntone di Scarlino in the Bay of Follonica only three hours sailing time from Elba. The sailing area also includes the Tuscan mainland and the islands of Sardinia, Corsica, Giglio and Capraia among others - one of the prime sailing areas in Italy with settled weather most of the year and a warm sea ideal for swimming and snorkelling.

Charters include the services of a skipper and hostess, bed linen, towels, Italian style breakfasts and light lunches on board. The company provides airport transfer from and to Pisa at an additional cost and transfers to the local railway station in Follonica free of charge

The yacht available for charter is a Dufour 425 Grand Large with 3 double cabins and 2 showers/WC sleeping 8 people (max. of 6 guests and 2 staff). The yacht is equipped with in mast reefing main sail, GPS and all standard electronic and safety equipment, electric anchor winch and full teak decks.
