The school has devised it's courses into five different levels, each lasting a week. All the levels may be taken on either the J 24 or the dinghies. For older children and adults we recommend J 24, ideal for those who wish to learn on a more stable vessel, children under the age of 14 may only take courses on dinghies.

The vessels used are:

Dinghies:
Optimist and Laser Pico for children up to 12 years of age

Keelboats:
Laser 2, Laser and collective boats (children over 12 and adults only)

Cruise Boats:
Three Sun Fast 37 (over eighteen only)

The Levels

1st Level: Beginner
Sailing vocabulary, basic knots, rigging the boat and first manoeuvres.

2nd Level: Intermediate
Tacking, gibing, conduction techniques at different speeds, apparent wind.

3rd: Advanced
Manoeuvres around marks, controlling the craft, spinnaker

4th Level: Approach
Basic rules, rigging the boat, gibing with spinnaker, speed manoeuvres around marks

5th Level: Competition
Regatta organisation, field study, start, tactics, strategy and roles
