South Asia Trekking (SAT), registered under the Nepal Government, Ministry of Tourism and Industry was founded by Nga Temba Sherpa, a native from the Everest region to promote adventure tourism in Nepal and bordering Himalayan Kingdoms. He has been in the field of mountaineering and other adventure activities since 1974. During these three decades, he has summited the Mt. Everest four times, Kangchenjunga, Makalu etc…and has touched most of the high Nga Temba Sherpmountain summits of Nepal, Tibet and Pakistan. Being highly skilled and sound physique he has experience of more than 26 successful mountaineering expeditions in the highest mountains of the world. An American mountaineer once called him also the "World's strongest man"! He has received several awards and appreciation by the government of Nepal, India/Sikkim and the international community for his contribution in mountaineering. He has also worked with world famous mountaineers.
