Sporting Opportunities offers sporty people (like you) the chance to volunteer coaching sport to children from disadvantaged backgrounds in Africa, Asia and South America.

Volunteer coaching and teaching children from disadvantaged backgrounds is not only rewarding its great fun. Volunteers have the opportunity to coach children less fortunate than themselves whilst exploring a new country with like-minded sporty coaches.

The organisation also organises tailor-made Sports Tours. The tours combine the social side of playing sport with the chance to volunteer on our life-changing community projects.

The mission is to provide fun and rewarding sporting opportunities for children and young athletes while also offering volunteer sports coaches the chance to live, work and travel overseas as part of a life changing gap year, career break or volunteer holiday. The projects include Football, Soccer, Rugby, Cricket, Hockey, Netball, Swimming, Boxing, Athletics, Basketball, Tennis, Baseball, Ultimate Frisbee, Volleyball and more!

You don't need recognised qualifications or lots of coaching experience to join the sports projects, just a passion for sport and a basic grounding in the sport(s) you want to coach.
