Suntoucher Guides are some of the most experienced and qualified rock and ice climbing guides in North America. Owner, head guide, and guide trainer John Kear is one of only a handful of American guides to have completed the International Guide Certification, UIAGM. Co-Owner Carolyn Parker is an AMGA Certified Rock guide and Athlete Trainer. We specialize in small ratio guided ascents and professional instruction. This combined with our years of success and experience worldwide, will provide you with the some of the best experience and instruction there is to offer.

Suntoucher offers guided alpine ascents and instruction in Alaska, the Alps, South America, and Canada; Rock climbing lessons and climbs in New Mexico, Utah, El Potrero Chico Mexico, and Europe; Waterfall Ice climbing in Ouray Colorado and the Canadian Rockies and Ski Mountaineering trips in Europe, Canada, Alaska and the Rocky Mountains of New Mexico and Colorado.
