The Border Inn

The Border Inn is a luxurious dog sledding lodge situated 1 mile from the Russian border in the pristine wilderness of Kuusamo. All our husky safaris travel along the Finnish-Russian border where you will experience the sights and sounds of the arctic winter. Bear , wolf , lynx and wolverine are all found along the Russian border and are infact more prolific in this region as many are crossing over from Russia and the border zone is a hunting safe area where the wild animals can retreat to safety. Elk,reindeer and an assortment of wild birds will also almost certainly be sited as we are pulled along the Russian border by our trusty companions the dogs.
