The Riding Fool Hostel

Located in historic downtown Cumberland on Vancouver Island, in BC, Canada, the Riding Fool Hostel occupies an 1895 heritage building which served as the Village hardware store prior to being tastefully restored and converted into a hostel, bike shop and café.

We set a high standard attracting those who want to get out of the city and off the beaten track. With lots of recreation and culture on the doorstep, you'll know this hostel is the place to be. We were recently voted “the best hostel on Vancouver Island” by the Lonely Planet British Columbia.
