The Way Inn is comprised of young former travelers who envisioned an alternative lifestyle to the nine-to-five option and went about building a dream up in the Andes, away from it all. The staff is made up of a small team of full time natives and a constantly changing team of traveling volunteers who assume key roles in the hospitality, sustainability and construction departments. There's always a happy, helpful, friendly face around to answer your questions, hear of your adventures and share travel stories.

The Way Inn Lodge is right at the entrance of a few valleys in the Cordillera Blanca, so there are a number of lakes, valleys and hillsides to choose from for a variety of day hike experiences. You can also start at least one amazing multi-day trek from here.
