The Basque town of Biarritz sits on the Bay of Biscay in the south-western corner of France. As an adventure travel destination Biarritz's location is hard to beat. To the north lies the world-class surfing break of Hossegor and mile-upon-mile of white sand beach breaks and pine forests. A 45-minute drive to the east and the adventure playground of the Pyrenees ascend from sea level to snow-capped peaks. A short drive south and you are crossing the border into northern Spain.
