Whitewater Rafting
Guatemala’s clear blue rapids range from Class two II to Class V. In spite of the dry season from December to May, the mountainous region has an abundance of water resources and there’s always a river open for rafting or kayaking. The drops are spectacular. Rafters on the Caribbean side are likely to encounter monkeys, toucans and parrots as they twist and turn their way down to sea level. Rafting holidays allow you to experience the Guatemalan rainforest and marvel at the large variety of flora and fauna. You can explore the Mayan archaeology by boat, sail through pristine mountain pools and relax on the Belize Barrier Reef.
