Netball is a non-contact generally indoor sport similar to basketball. This sport is a fast and highly skilled game, it is usually known as women's sport. Netball originated in United States as 'women's basketball'.
There are seven players on each team with a purpose to get the ball in the opposing goal hoop to gain points in a 60 minute match. Each member has specific positions which are Goal Shooter (GS), Goal Attack (GA), Wing Attack (WA), Centre (C), Wing Defence (WA), Goal Defence (GD) and Goal Keeper (GK).
This is a popular sport amongst women, played in England, Australia, New Zealand, West Indies and Sri Lanka.
