With an extensive background on surfing, skiing and snowboarding Francisco Escudero began in the industry learning how to kitesurf locally and teaching to a small group of friends.
Currently he is the Florida Kitesurfing Association North Miami Beach area coordinator and created a network between Miami and San Juan, Puerto Rico (the Maui of the Caribbean) where he provides kiteboarding vacation packages as well as other activities.
Francisco believe in safe and simple instruction and on the equal right for riders in all spots no matter of their abilities, he also believe in following the rules at all times and that respect within the communities and communication are the key for creating and maintaining open launch sites for everyone all around the world.
Francisco Castillo a.k.a Habi, our instructor for PR and local who loves big waves, bodyboarding and kitesurfing , have the knowledge, experience, love and respect for the ocean that will take you up to the next level.
Our kitesurfing lesson programs will allow you to learn the way you want to, by respecting your progression rhythm and allowing you to find a lesson best adapted to you. You can choose different time formats, from one hour up to several days. There is neither age limit nor prerequisite apart from being able to swim and enjoy spending time in the water.
Also we do trips around the island to other secret spots known only by "Habi" with perfect conditions for wake or wave style riding besides famous Shacks , wave action ,and La Parguera butter flat water for those looking for the ultimate adventure.
We have wind year round with average of 15 to 25 knots and sometimes really windy , warm water and sunblock in a daily basis!! except for the rain seasson between september and november with unpredictable conditions and busy tropical storms activities in the region. Winter is for big waves , surfing and kitesurfing and summer time just for wind and hot sun with mostly flat water conditions for freestyle.
