We are situated on the edge of Triglav National Park, the Crown Jewel of Slovenia. Triglav is Slovenia’s highest mountain and is a national symbol. The Kayak centre is nestled between Slovenia’s two most beautiful lakes, Bled and Bohinj.
Locally there is 20km of Alpine River Kayaking available on the Sava Bohinjska River also nearby the Sava Dolinka river has a higher volume of water and the beautiful lakes of Bled And Bohinj can also be Kayaked. At our centre we have the perfect environment for all styles of Kayaking and ability levels. We offer 1/2 day to 5 Day Courses for a levels from beginner to advanced/expert with friendly English speaking professionally qualified Instructors.
Our riverside Centre nestles beside the crystal clear Sava Bohinjska River and the stunning views of the Julian Alps. Accommodation consists of double bedrooms, with en suite bathrooms and splendid views down the river. All rooms have balcony/patio area but we also have a two bedroom en suite for families.
Reka Hisa is relaxing and has an informal atmosphere. Meal times are special events with everyone sitting around the table to chat about day’s adventures. Fantastic meals made with local farm produce – mainly organic. Special dietary requirements will also be catered for.

DIRECTIONS TO REKA HISA IF REQUIRED: Take the road to BOHINJ FROM BLED. We are about 8Kms. from Bled on this road. You will then pass two exits for Bohinjska Bela. Shortly after the second exit, there is a double blend with SPEED RESTRICTIONS of 70km followed by 50km. You will cross a bridge, and if you look to your right, you will see our house down by the river. 200 meters after this bridge there is a small layby/car park on the right with a small road leading to our house at the end, about 100 meters. NEAREST BUS STOP 10 MINS WALK BUS STOP NAME OBRNE 2 THIS BUS STOP IS ABOUT 300 METERS BEFORE BRIDGE MENTIONED ABOVE. THE BUS STOP IS ON THE LUBIJIANA TO BOHINJ BUS ROUTE. DIRECTIONS TO BLED FROM KLAGENFURT, AUSTRIA Take autobahn from Klagenfurt direction VILLACH, continue on the motorway, pass a great lake on your left called Worther See. You will then see signs for SLOVENIA and LJUBLJANA. Take this turn off onto another motorway direction Slovenia. You will come to the border crossing and then go through a toll tunnel, 6.5 EUROS, follow signs for Ljubljana. The motorway will stop and continue as a highway about 5kms. You then turn off to Bled as sign posted.
