Kiterush Dakhla resort is situated in Morocco, 22Km North of the Tropic of cancer on a peninsula on the edges of the Sahara desert. The immense flat water lagoon created by the strip of land wrapping round the coastline spreads for 50km amidst mind blowing backdrops of the Sahara. The wind blows all year round 17-35kts and the temperature differs by only 2 degrees between winter and summer.

We offer full IKO Kitesurfing tuition, Pro Surfing Clinics and 4 x 4 Safaris for some epic downwinders.

Kiterush Dakha comprises an on site shop and kit storage area, accommodation comes in the form of traditional Saharan tents and our site is fully equipped with hot showers and western style toilet facilities, fridges, solar panels and a generator. You will find coverage for mobile phones at the camp and their is a place to charge them or any laptops etc you care to bring. For the evenings the resort has a book swap library, DVD and Xbox lounge and most nights we have a camp fire.

Kiterush Dakhla is positioned on the lagoon side of the peninsula. The lagoon is home to dolphins, whales, flamingos and a huge variety of marine life. The resort is perfectly placed to be kiteable in any wind direction. There are also opportunities for sand boarding, camel rides, dolphin and whale watching, big game fishing and extreme 4x4 action all within a short drive...which of course we provide. If all this gets too much for you, why not head into Dakhla itself for a couple of days relaxation at the Sahara Regency hotel, Dakhla's only 4 star hotel and one of the few places outside our resort you're able to sit in the bar and enjoy a a beer, here you will also find great food.

Directions

You can get to Dakhla in several ways:

From the UK, there are flights to Agadir and Casablanca from most major UK airports. From Casablanca you can fly direct to Dakhla on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. There are also regular flights from Agadir to Dakhla.

Their are 2 flights a week from Las Palmas to Dakhla, Mon and Thurs. For booking and details go to www.topfly.com
From France, Royal Air Maroc or Air France, flight Paris-Casablanca it is also possible to fly from Marseille, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Lyon, Nantes and Lille.

From Spain you can fly from Madrid, Malaga and Barcelona or from Italy from Rome, Turin, Milan or Bologne.
You can also fly to Marrakesh and from there get a bus to Dakhla.
