Surf Zone-Cabo Verde

Surf Zone is Cape Verde's largest Kite Suring, Wind Surfing and Surf School with two locations on the island. The locations of the schools provide a vairity of conditions from which to teach all three types of surf. Attention to safety and quality ensures that people learning here will feel confident enough to wind, kite or surf anywhere in else.

Both locations are in Bay areas, therefore providing ideal spaces and conditions for beginner wind and kite surfers. For those more advanced kite and wind surfers, the areas just outside the bay provide stronger winds, great for speed sailing, jibes etc. Both schools are located close to the best wave spots on the island.

Locations:
Morabeza Beach in the Bay of Santa Maria
Riu Hotel Beach on the West Coast 500meteres from Punta Preta (only school on this coast)
Both schools are located right on the beach 50-60meters to the water. These beaches have no rocks and no reefs.

The Surf Station partners with the Hotel Morabeza. The Hotel Morabeza is the most established hotel in Cabo Verde, offering its guests affordable luxury, quality service, and a location that is unbeatable.

Apartments
As part of the Kite Surf Station Cape Verde, we offer accommodation to both our kite and wind surf clients. All our apartments are within a 5-15min range of the station. In all our apartments: water, light, gas and linen are included. Towels are not included.
Our apartments are clean and secure. The environment of each apartment is amicable and will add to your holiday experience.

-Surf Zone Santa Maria is located beside the main pier in Santa Maria. The exact location is on the Beach club of the Morabeza Hotel.
-Surf Zone Riu is located on the beach area of the Riu hotel on the west coast. It is a 20min walk the town of Santa Maria and is the only hotel on the west coast of the island close to Santa Maria.
