Welcome to Tantrum Kitesurf, the kite-school offering you the best chance to become an independent kitesurfer in just one week. Now we realise that's a bold statement, especially given the high standard of competition, but let us explain why we believe it to be true. At Tantrum we don't run courses in the traditional, 2, 3 or 4 hour format, we run courses for as long as you can take, so if there's wind for 8 hours and you've got the energy, we'll be down at the beach teaching you for 8 hours. So over the course of a week you'll get a lot more time on the kite and have much more chance of getting up and riding on the board. Of course if this sounds a bit much and you need to take a few breaks, we always bring a handy cool box down the beach to provide you with snacks and drinks over the course of the day. In addition to this we also pick you up from your hostel every day to take you down the beach, we'll even pick you up from and drop you back off at the airport and accommodation is included in the price.

Based in Tarifa, the European Mecca of Kitesurfing, we run courses primarily on the local beaches. However due to our highly mobile nature we can, when conditions dictate, use beaches the full length of the Costa de la Luz, or Costa del Sol, which means we can always go where the wind is best for you, further increasing your ride time.

We offer courses from beginner to advanced level and can cater courses to meet your exact needs so let us know what you want and we'll do our best to arrange it.

Directions

The easiest way to get to Tarifa is to fly into Gibraltar, Monarch, EasyJet and BA have flights from London Luton and Gatwick and from Sept 2008 Manchester. Failing that Malaga, Jerez or Sevilla are all within about 2 hours drive.
